
KM SHARK TANK!!! Ms. Kirby and Mr. Ksobiech (Mr. Dellis's student teacher) collaborated by having marketing students evaluate biomedical innovations. The Marketing students observed presentations, provided peer reviews, and voted on which project would receive funding. The Shark Tank winners were Kylee and Ryker!





PIZZA PRACTICUM!!! This week, 4K students had a special visitor. Jim Rydzik from Pizza Guy gave students a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making their delicious pizza, from the ingredients to the hard work of preparing the dough. They were amazed as Mr. Jim tossed pizza dough into the air and shared the process. Best of all, they had the chance to roll, cut, and create their own pizzas!

FORMER KM COACH AND TEACHER INDUCTED INTO NATIONAL WRESTLING HALL OF FAME!!! Former high school wrestling coach Greg Aprahamian will be inducted, posthumously into the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Aprahamian was a coach and teacher at Kettle Moraine High School. He strengthened the KM wrestling program during his tenure, by recruiting students from football and track, leading to their first and only Classic 8 Conference championship. During his time at KM, he coached 10 state placements and one state champion, solidifying his reputation as a program builder. CULINARY COMPETITION!!! Two representatives from the Wisconsin Army National Guard led a culinary competition in Mrs. Jordan's Foods for Life classes. Students combined military MRE's, additional supplies, and classroom knowledge to create culinary masterpieces and present them to the judges. We have some very creative students at KM!

FORENSICS AT STATE!!! KM Forensics Team had an outstanding performance at the MLFA State Forensics Meet at Brookfield Central High School on Saturday. The team spoke with confidence and conviction, and their hard work paid off with impressive results. A total of 12 students earned medals, including Taylor A. and Anabelle G., who took home the top honors for their Infomercial, The Gen Z Translator. Elsa K. earned second for her remarkable impromptu speech, which she created on the spot. Grace K. also claimed second in the Storytelling category with her captivating speech, "Hic, Hic, Hic." Grey L. earned third for her powerful Serious Solo speech, "Who Am I?" Congratulations to the entire team.


“MUSIC MATTERS” LICENSE PLATES!!! Wisconsin Foundation for School Music (WFSM) invites you to join us as we work to create a “Music Matters” license plate in Wisconsin! We can apply for a “Music Matters” Wisconsin vehicle license plate when it has successfully collected 500 signatures from eligible adults who agree to purchase the plate if approved and released through the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles. BOYS BASKETBALL ACADEMIC ALL STATE!!! Luke Baril, Jack Barker, Ben Bestor, Bryce Bestor, Chalie Dunham, Zach Froemming, Andrew Ishag, Nick Garvey, Liam Hughes, Caden Jurci, Lew Stuckey, and Roman Thompson have all earned Academic All State recognition. The boys also earned Top D1 team Academic All State with a 3.761 average GPA. Congratulations!

LASER TECH AND LASER BOTS AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! In a fantastic conclusion, KM’s FTC Robotics teams, “Laser Bots” and “Laser Tech” both competed very well at the Wisconsin State Championships on March 8 at Milwaukee School of Engineering. “Laser Bots” had a deep playoff run and was the recipient of the prestigious “Design Award” for their team’s robot. Meanwhile, “Laser Tech” reached the tournament Finals for the second consecutive year and had the second-highest ranking Autonomous performance of the 28 teams competing in the tournament. Both Laser Bots and Laser Tech were among the top seven scoring teams at State. Congratulations Laser Bots and Laser Tech for your resilience, innovation and teamwork throughout the long Robotics season! CARSON SCHOLAR AWARD!!! Mariella Lehrmann, a junior in HS^2, has been named a 2025 Carson Scholar. The Carson Scholars Fund awards scholars in grades 4-11 who demonstrate the highest standard of academic achievement, integrity, and civic and social responsibility with a $1,000 college scholarship.
