
REGISTER FOR SUMMER ACADEMY!!! We have some great opportunities for high school students to get a jump on their next school year! Summer Academy is available for K-12 students and allows them to choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). To accommodate more families and staffing demands we will again run two separate sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 16-July 3 and session two will run July 7-July 25. Students can attend the full six weeks or one session only if preferred. Session two classes will be a repeat of content and activities from session one, unless noted in the course description. KMHS STUDENT PLAYS PART IN NFL DRAFT!!! Riley Vertz, Green Bay Packers Flag Football Player of the Year for Wisconsin, participated in the 2025 NFL Draft New Era ‘Hand the Cap Moment’ last night at Lambeau Field. Riley and her family got to enjoy the First Round festivities and she was able to experience the event from back stage, placing a New Era Cap on the head of a draftee!



WALES CAMPUS SCIENCE DAY!!! KM Global students presented scientific topics for Wales and Explore students at Science Day. Students really enjoyed learning about our native birds, identification tools, and migration from Brady Weston. Several community members also volunteered! A chef explained food on a molecular level with whipped cream and chocolate caviar and a veterinarian instructed students on how to perform physical examinations on canines. Retzer Nature Center gave a presentation on the sun, and students went outside to measure the sun's rays and took home color-changing sun beads. Global senior Adeline Bergoholz-Gleason co-directed the event with Rachel Schultz as her senior capstone. Thank you to everyone who contributed!





HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!!! Foreign exchange students need host families for the 25-26 school year. We have two girls: Antonia, 16 from Germany, loves crafts, art, writing, and pets. She participates in dance, field hockey, swimming, and tennis. Anne, also 16, is from Spain. She enjoys concerts, sporting events, music, photography and pets. She participates in acting, soccer, tennis, and gymnastics. We also have a boy, Jonas 16 from Germany, who likes movies, sporting events, and volunteering. He participates in field hockey, skiing, and soccer. The students' families pay all expenses and provide medical insurance. They speak English and want to learn about America. JOIN THE BOOSTER CLUB BOARD!!! The KMHS Booster Club has upcoming open Board positions and are looking for some high energy individuals to join them. Open Board Positions - Secretary and Social Media Coordinator. Additionally we have 1 year left on many other roles if someone is interested in shadowing a position to learn more about the role. The Booster Club meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the KMHS Library.

WALES FLIGHT GROUPS SUPPORT COMMUNITY INITIATIVES!!! Each month a staff member and a small group of students from Wales Elementary form a Flight Group that works together to coordinate an activity that improves our KM Community. This month, they cleaned up litter in celebration of Earth Day!






CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATION!!! Our KMHS Campus (Kettle Moraine High School, the High School of Health Sciences, KM Global, KM Perform, and KM Connect) will be celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2025 with a commencement ceremony on May 31st at 7:30pm on Vock Field at Culver's Stadium. Please join us as we celebrate these amazing young people! We will also be live streaming the event and will share the link and details as they are available.


GRADUATION FIREWORKS!!! On May 31st, we will celebrate the Class of 2025 by holding a graduation ceremony for students and their families at Vock Field. This will be followed by a fireworks display at 8:30 pm where we can honor their accomplishments as a community. We hope you enjoy the show and we apologize for any disturbance the noise may cause.

KMEF PROVIDES CAMERA EQUIPMENT FOR FILM-FOCUSED STUDENTS!! KM Perform film students got to open new equipment they will be utilizing for their upcoming Classroom Centerstage project! The students have been leaning on local film-maker, Scott Curty, for the equipment needed to produce student led movie projects like their award-winning short film Doom Scroll. This incredible donation will give them greater flexibility and allow them to produce commercials and podcasts in house for professional clients. f you would like to learn more about the Kettle Moraine Education Foundation (KMEF) visit their website at kmsd.edu/kmef. CELEBRATING OUR BUS DRIVERS!!! Thank you to all of the Dousman Transport Drivers, but especially those who take care of our KM students!


GRANT FOR BUTTERFLY GARDEN! Third and Fifth grade students, worked with the Magee PTO, Night Owl Landscaping, Woodridge Landscapes, and Pialas, submitted a grant application to the WLCA (Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association). WLCA chose Magee Elementary School's Butterfly Garden as their 2025 Service Day Project!! This means that the design created and donated by Pialas will come to fruition. This was aligned with the end of Unit 1 project-based learning opportunity in myView where students were to write persuasive letters to a local leader or organizational leader to enhance a park, playground, or part of their school grounds. Accepted grands include volunteers from WLCA member-companies from across the region donating their time, tools, materials, and talent to create a space where students can learn, grow, and connect with nature. The project will include the construction of an outdoor classroom surrounded by pollinator-friendly plants, stone paths, and countless spaces for students to discover the natural world.
